Monroe Firefighters Union Local #3315 was founded on April 28, 1990. The union was founded by the 5 paid firefighters that were employed by Monroe Fire District #3. Since it's inception, Local #3315 has grown to 25 members currently. Union members include 3 Battalion Chiefs, 4 Captains, 6 Firefighters, and 12 Firefighter Paramedics.
Local #3315 is an organization that not only strives to create better working conditions for its members, but tries to make the community that we serve a safer place to live. Local #3315 members participate in many community events to promote fire safety and education. The Union also supports the Northwest Burn Foundation with a boot drive every October to raise money for the foundation. Several members also donate their time as councelors at the burn foundations summer camp for burn survivors ages 7-17.
